Global Health Peru at UPCH boasts many strong collaborations with internationally-renowned research communities such as, National University of Engineering, as well as other international institutions such as Johns Hopkins, New York University, UCLA, McGill, and University of Washington. UPCH is comprised of leading Peruvian research faculty in the field of medicine and public health. Research topics explored by Global Health Peru researchers include evaluation/implementation of rapid diagnostic tests for STIs, using text messages to increase treatment adherence and many other exciting topics.


The Global Health Peru Program brings together people all over campus and the community to network and stay connected in global health. Our projects allow for internationally-renowned research communities to connect. During our program, students will have the opportunity to seek out professors and researchers to be a part of their current research projects. Students will receive one-on-one mentoring throughout the program and will be expected to complete and present an independent deliverable at the end of their rotation.
